Befriending Bertha

Three girls - a girl who can't stop talking, a girl who barely speaks and a girl who claims to drive her own Cadillac -- are drawn into an unlikely friendship. On the fringes of a  school playground, the three of them, weave a web of fantasy and magic in which they seek refuge from the problems they face in reality. When these two worlds collide, each of the kids must face the challenge of dealing with hard truths, while keeping hope and imagination alive.
