Fin del Mundo was formed in 2019 in Buenos Aires, with roots in Tierra del Fuego and Chubut
in Southern Patagonia. Their music invites you to travel to both spaces through melodies, lyrics
and instrumental passages that combine an indie sound with emotional post-rock and
shoegaze influences. The band integrated by Julieta Limia (drums), Julieta Heredia (guitar), Yanina Silva (bass) and
Lucía Masnatta (guitar, vocals) has self-released two EPs to date. While their first self-titled EP
(2020), seemed like a perfect soundtrack for those “extrange days” of the pandemic, on their
second EP ‘La ciudad que dejamos’ (2022) they looked for other musical directions to show us
that the end of the world was not the culmination of something, but the beginning of a new
stage. And this is how their first tour in Chile came as well as the live session for the legendary
American radio station KEXP (1M+ views) and their first European tour in Autumn 2023.
In June 2023, they announced that they have signed up to Spanish indie label Spinda Records
(Moura, Loma Baja, Moundrag, Bismut, Travo, Maragda...) to put out on 3rd November ‘Todo
va hacia el mar’, an album containing their previous two EPs for the very first time on physical
formats. The band is currently working on the new songs that will be part of their first full-length debut
album, as well as on the first ever European tour in Autumn 2023 together with booking agency
Brain Productions.
