About

The Arts Society Gibraltar which is a national art society appealing to anyone who is interested in any aspect of art.

We hold monthly meetings from October till may at the Garrison Library on the 3rd Wednesday of the month

Our illustrated talks cover a huge variety of subjects related to the world of art.

Our speakers all come from the UK. they are all chosen by The Arts Society centrally for their vast knowledge and ability to present very interesting illustrated talks.

This is a very social society. We meet an hour before each lecture with complimentary drinks and nibbles to socialise with likeminded people who do not need to be an expert on any subject to appreciate our talks.

We also aim to educate the school age children in these art subjects. and to this end and in conjunction with the DOE we offer a corporate membership to art teacher which enables their students to attend our lecture free of charge.
